PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION OF AN ARGENTINE CERTIFICATE
OF NO CRIMINAL RECORD
To Argentine citizens or foreigners who have had permanent or transitory residence in the Argentine Republic:
A) In
Argentina:
Petitioner must apply for the certificate at the Argentine Federal Police
headquarters in
Buenos Aires or provincial delegations.
B) At the Argentine General Consulate
in Hong Kong:
Petitioner
should make an appointment with the consular officer.
At the
agreed date the applicant must come personally to the Consulate
General, with Argentine I.D. Card (-Cédula de Identidad- issued by
Federal Police), D.N.I. (Documento
Nacional de Identidad), and 4 photos. A
form will be filled and finger prints taken. A
consular fee of HK$ 340.56 will be
charged.
The
Consulate sends the documentation to Argentina to be processed by the
Federal Police,
procedure which takes about two to four months.
If the
application is aproved, the Consulate will issue the No Criminal
Certificate, for which a consular fee of HK$ 448.92 will be charged.
