Textation Tutorial 3: Create a HREF Track

1. Launch Textation and create a new project.
   
   
2. Click Set button to set the reference movie to the movie you want to add a HREF track.
   
   
3. Click the upper-right Add button to add a new text track.
   
   
4. Start playing the reference movie.
   
   
5. When the reference movie reaches the point you want to point to a web page, click the lower-right Add button. A new sample with the current movie time is added.
   
   
6. Repeat step 5 until all reference points are marked.
   
   
7. For each sample, type the URL in this format: <URL> T<frame>, or, if you want the browser to open the URL automatically, in this format: A<URL> T<frame>. Please note that T<frame> is optional.
   
   
8. The reference movie is set to the sample time when a sample is selected. You can fine tune the sample time by stepping forward or backward, then click the Update button.
   
   
9. Uncheck the Enabled check box to disable the text track.
   
   
10. Change the name of the text track to HREFTrack.
    
    
11. Save the project.
    
    
12. Select menu item Export to export the resulting movie to QuickTime movie.
    
    
13. Create a web page to embed this exported movie.
