I've kept a list of my Jazz and Classical CDs for some time now. It's stored in a Foxpro database that
I print out and use to try and avoid buying duplicate CDs and I thought it would be an interesting exercise to
put the list on my web page. I've started entering the data for Other (OST, Various etc) but will get around
to finishing it when I find time. Also the data that does exist needs some tidying up as not all
lines have the recording dates, for example.
Anyway, although these lists aren't particularly useful I hope you find them interesting. Please bear in
mind that over the years I've collected some great music but there are also some that I don't care too much for.
Just because I have a CD doesn't mean I like it!
Technical note: These screens need Javascript to run properly as they have sorting, scrolling and filtering options.
They work on IE and Firefox but aren't ideal on Chrome or Safari (as the table headers and footer scroll too) and they
might not work at all on other browsers.
Also note that sorting the Classical list takes a while as it is quite long. So if you click on a column header
please be patient.
Ayre IBE Test CD
Ayre produced a test CD that includes two tracks with glide tones which are useful for determining if there
is any variation in the frequency response of the system. The following calculations allow you to find out what
frequency is being played at any time during the track, or at what time a particular frequency will be played.
