Central: Get up high and scope the angles of camera flying over the Western district in the stunning opening. Discover the gems of the colonial period in a walking tour of Central.
The Hospital and Grand Residences of the Peak
With imaginary sirens blaring, traverse the winding road to the 'non touristy' peak to the hospital where Jennifer Jones as Han Suyin is tending a newly arrived orpahn girl. Another stunning view point - what was and what is will be explored through comparisons with old photographs.
Sampans at Aberdeeen Typhoon Shelter
Suyin resists Mark's advances, but by the folowing Wednesday is dining with him at the Jumbo Restuarant in Aberdeen, scaring away the 'unlucky' clouds from the moon by banging their chopsticks on their bowls. Ride sampans out to a dimsum lunch with the same (now 80 plus years old women) who would have ushered Holden and Jones into these iconic tubs.
