Since we parted by the weeping willow

new leaves now drape my old sorrow

Tonight as we savor this quiet moment

let me embrace you with my new poem

楓橋昔別玉冰心

舊日情懷柳色新

此夜舉杯重開宴

再吟一闋表情深

Where won't we meet again

mountain ranges without end

Up upon her bushy cheeks

a majestic crown of soaring peaks

Rising to the occasion

in magnificent formation

Where won't we meet again

Pointy wedges with razor edges

Snowy terraces on rocky ledges

Freshly glazed from the bake

Generous icing on the cake

Where won't we meet again

mountain ranges without end

Slowly accenting towards the top

may come a thousand meter drop

Turning her face towards the sun

with a dignity second to none

Where won't we meet again

A mustache of pines cling together

shaving an cliff with snowy lather

Further down is a skirt of green pasture

where cows and sheep roam and nurture

A room with a view

Edelweiss and morning dew

Dip into an ocean of cloud to bathe

or set sail on a misty wave

Where won't we meet again

for each of us God has a special plan

May we always be pleasing to His will

and together enjoy the fabulous view

He has love for every man

An ocean of stars trembling, the night is filled

Apart from the cicadas crying, the garden is still

Amid the Autumn leaves drying, the moon's chilled

Alas weeping willows' blowing, the memory windmill

When you sat by my side

I was gay and you were shy

Many a times we silently confided

while sunset painted the evening sky

Music playing nature has provided

sound of waves upon the sand

In friendship we abided

a moment without end

 So beautifully times were befitting

Who would've thought of parting

And now each starry moonbeam

carries you close in my dreams

Autumn leaves dance butterfly

Cicada sings sweet lullabies

Windmill of past episodes

flow freely like willows

只聞蟲聲初夜靜

淡淡孤月上蘭亭

曾經共醉看晚晴

當時誤作尋常事

而今指望在夢縈

華髮晚風飄任憑

Remember dear

the other year

the moon was bright

that memorable night

A poem I was writing

for you my darling

Worried you may not fathom

my deepest sentiments

I could not say enough

my endless love

 Now I am but wordless

like a moon without brightness

Empty without a shine

when will you be mine

For I miss you more and more

moonlight is never the same as before

The brightness of that other night

has gone with you in flight

Stars always rain by sleeping hour

sobers the bamboo with a shower

dribbling sounds of nightingales mourning

the chill breaks the early morning

leaving me with wet eyes and flowers

星如暮雨瀟瀟

灑向窗前薩蕉

點滴啼痕破曉

不襟料峭

濕了青衫眼簾

Flooded into our study

we bathed in the moonlight

Beamed into our hearts

warm mid-Summer's night

How I wish I were committed

but a curse was my foolish youth

The spell of her love eluded me

as I failed to capture the truth

Now there's not a day goes by

I do not reminisce in sorrow

If only I see you in my dream

wish I'd never wake up tomorrow



In this world of mutable mess

are we but helpless guests

"We win some we lose some"

laughter shadowed by a heart lonesome

Because we are torn by different morals

humanity is long broken with sorrows

Fortunately there is an everlasting Truth

which is the answer to our fading youth

Heaven is forever young

God loves everyone

In His Kingdom of eternity

there is no fear of time's finality

Let's embrace the world of pain we suffer

that begins with opening up to each other

express each emotion harboured

and listen like a loving neighbour'd

For it doesn't matter what we are doing

without love we are nothing

There is a beautiful garden in all our hearts

so let's throw a big party in our yard

As we share each other's ups and downs

togetherness becomes homeward bound

Singing and dancing with a musical band

we stroll towards eternal life hand in hand

神是自有永有的

而另一句口頭俚語：月如無恨月長圓

更應該正面的擁抱人間疾痛

而關係在乎真情傾訴

一起走進永恆

 Searching high into misty clouds

weary travelers in dusty shrouds

once we drink His living fountain

strength lies on sacred mountain

倦客天涯兩鬢斑

活水一灑重生雨

紅鹿不染綠幽山

Life is a rocky road of intersections

with frequent set backs in our actions

everyone has experienced bad decisions

that bring shameful remorse upon reflection

renewal starts with repentance and confession

His grace frees us by forgiveness and redemption

I wait upon my Lord here

the pasture green & water clear

Over there you serve Him dearly

along willows and blossoming cherry

 Then I turned around

was pleasantly astounded

You've always been so near

quietly and still you appeared

Needlessly I've wandered

now I need to look no further

Tomorrow may I ask for your hand

let's stroll down His amazing graceland

I hear her cries

Teardrops in my eyes

By His merciful grace

I live my China days

I see her lost

Precious soul that cost

Gone astray His sheep

Our heartache and weep

I feel her pain

Life's suffering can't explain

Kunming handicapper's welfare

Dali villager's healthcare

I taste her life

Take me as a living sacrifice

In the same boat we belong

Jesus calms the thundering storm

I tend her sheep

The Gospel let's plant deep

To secure salvation

By His grace of redemption

I plea for her soul

Either send me or you go

Participate in His revival plan

Please give generously to Yunnan

There has been a revolution within me

for my faith I laid down my life

A thousand men cannot stop me

on the mission impossible

I do the possible He does the impossible

I do my best He does the rest

Success is a journey of perseverance

in principle centred living

Let my blood be my testimony

and love be my destiny

to irrigate the ploughed seeds

May they all fall onto good earth

germinate and be nurtured

Perhaps we may not see the blossoms

but until they bear fruit

there is no need to laugh at me

內心已作了小革命

願祂在沃地盟芽長進

As I look back I tremble in fear

in my hand still stands my spear

Years of battle with scholastic men

this is by no means the end

Today a dragon is slain

yet the struggle remains

Although I am still an amateur

higher ambitions I nurture

Damn the torpedoes

tomorrow belongs to superego

Whatever lies at battlefront

I shall overcome

Until the mountain is near

the river is clear

Birds sing in assembly

and I laugh romantically

Galloping field gusty

clouds swirling dusty

country road endless

aspiration boundless

Of the finest quest

I love her the best

together we ride

whole worldwide
