Recently, in the name of "some Falun Dafa practitioners from mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas countries", a few individuals have been spreading the news of organizing a "China International Falun Dafa Conference" in Hong Kong in May this year. This has caused confusions among practitioners in many countries. The Hong Kong Association of Falun Dafa herein clarifies: this only represents the intention of a few individuals. The Hong Kong Association of Falun Dafa as well as Falun Dafa associations and responsible persons around the world have no plan of holding such an international activity in Hong Kong in the near future.

Through studying Falun Dafa books, a practitioner will generally understand that any local Falun Dafa Conference should be coordinated and organized by the respective local Falun Dafa association and not by just a few individuals. As for the case of an international Falun Dafa Conference or similar large-scale activities, a local Falun Dafa association should have the consensus of and coordination with all Falun Dafa associations and responsible persons concerned. According to the guiding principle that Falun Dafa Conference should not be held too frequently and should be substantial in nature, we are not planning to hold any international conference or similar activities in Hong Kong in the near future since the last Conference was held only four months ago. We would not endorse nor support the above-mentioned activities proposed by these few individuals. We emphasize that whatever consequences arising from these activities will be their sole responsibilities.

Should there be any international Falun Dafa activity to be held in Hong Kong in the future, we would definitely consult all parties concerned in advance and post the notification on our Falun Dafa website ( http://home.netvigator.com/~falunhk ) at an appropriate time.
