Why should I believe in Jesus ?

I think there are two major reasons why I believe in Christ :
 

From a logical sense, its not able for us to prove the existense of God. As Dr. Leung Yin Shing say, our God is so profound, and we are so limited, we are just a small dust in the universe. How can we prove where our God is to be ?

Yet, on the other hand. Though we are limited, the God still let us know and experient him. So if just by all the objective reasoning, I think its still limited to know our God. Thats why personal experience is also important to go into the Christianity. I think if you ask any Chirstian, they will have their own experience to feel about the God.
 

Does the Bible non-scientific ?

Many Bible's objector uses what the Genesis say that our God creates the universe and all the living creatures without seven days is non-scientific. As from scientific point of view, the formation of the universe and the solar system can't be within a week's time.

But don't forget that the Lord's time is certainly different from our time system. People know about Eisten's relativity that if we can travel near the speed of light, then our time system is completely different. Of course, in our current technology, we still can't travel near the speed of light, but our Lord is different.

Certainly, our God can travel in the speed of light. In fact, in the book of John, there are many context describes the God or Jesus as the light or true light. In John 8:12,

    Jesus said, "I the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".

Though, the meaning of light here has its spiritual interpretation. From scientific point of view, we can't deny that it may imply that Jesus can travel like the light.
 

My view of scientific explaination of some phenomenon in the Bible and higher dimensional space

I believe besides the fact that our Lord can travel in any speed. In fact, our Lord is in a higher dimensional space than us. Since, we are limited in three dimensional space, thats why we can't see our God. But I think maybe our soul or our spirit can go into this higher dimensional space. Thats why we need to use our spirit to experient our God.

It seems to be a little bit abstract. But just imagine that if we put an ant onto a paper which is a two dimensional space. And imagine that if the ant does only knows about the plane, the paper. Then in its world, it will only knows all the things happen on the paper. If we suddenly pick him up and move it to some other place on the paper, it will be quite puzzle and will never understanding whats happening.
 

Same cases if our Lord is in a higher dimensioanl space than us. Then He is able to pick us up and move us to any place. In fact,  I think stated in Act 8:39,

     When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the enunch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. ⁴⁰Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.

Thats the kind of moving Philip over another higher dimensional space by the God. Simiarly written down in 2 Corinthians 12:1-4, Paul wrote :

    I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know - God knows. And I know that this man - whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows - was caught up to paradise.

May also describe that Paul (or the person he knew) was caught up to the third heaven. He was not sure whether the whole body or only the spirit was caught up. Anyhow, I think the third heaven Paul mention about, maybe another higher dimensional space that the God brought him to.

Besides the above personal opinion, I think the fact that many predictions in the Bible are proved to come true is indisputable. In fact, many famous scientist e.g.  Newton was also a Christian. So saying that the Bible is non-scientific is really non-scientific.

In fact, science depends much on experiments. But as stated, we are so limited in our space and our time, there are many many things that can't be done by experiements. Thus its impossible to use science to explain all the things. Only if there are something that contradict to our existing science finding, then it maybe a problem. But it turns out that in fact, many phenomenons in the Bible are in fact compatible with our newadays scientific knowledge.

Personal experience

As mentioned, if just by all logical reasoning to believe in our God, than thats only one face that we experience our believe. To touch more deeply into Christianity, personal feeling and experience is very important.

For myself, after believing in Christ. I think I really feel more peaceful and joyful than before. As I remember before I became a Christian. Whenever I sleep in a hotel, I won't turn off all the lights. But now, I will, as I won't afraid of those devil, as I know that Christ is with me. Why should I afraid ?
