Tower Dream has been designed by a three-person design team: Miyaoka Hiroshi, Orio Kazunori, and Yanagisawa Kenji (family name followed by given name). The game is copyrighted by ASCII Corporation. My version of the rules is adapted from the rules found in the game instruction booklet and the game software itself, re-written by me (Alan Kwan) into English and in a much more formal organisation. I have not obtained permission from the copyright owners before doing it, but I think it should be okay, because this is not merely a direct translation, and because I am quoting for review purposes, and also because the game is rather unplayable except in its marketed format (SFC game). This article may be freely reproduced and distributed on a private basis, provided that it is unmodified and this disclaimer section is included, and that it is used for review purposes.
Should you feel the urge to try to play the game using these rules and your own constructed equipment, click on "unplayable" in the last paragraph to see why this is not a very good idea.
I am not an employer or otherwise have any affiliation with ASCII Corporation.
